Chalk, Candy and Diamond Double Stuff Balloons
Wait! Why are my balloons the wrong colors?!! Layered balloons or “double stuff” is what creates the unique colors we offer. Check out the video links below to get answers to our most common questions with doubled balloons!
✓ Use caution when tightening the balloon knot – if you pull the knot super tight, you could tear the balloon which results in leaks.
✓ Want that SUPER matte look? Our chalk balloons are as matte as they get out of the package, however, to get your balloons to the flattest finish, inflate them 1-2 days before your event, and if they will be displayed indoors, expose them to sunlight for 20 minutes. Sun oxidizes the latex and is part of why outdoor builds take on that super matte look! Check this video out to see a sample!
Tips Before you Begin
✓ Garlands will take 1-2 hours to complete. Inflating balloons is what takes the longest! Assembly of the arch is fast and easy once the balloons are ready
✓ You can definitely assemble your garland several days in advance! During this time keep it indoors and in a safe location until you are ready to set up for your party.
✓ Use 3M command hooks or Clik-Clik Magnets for hanging your arch! Because the balloons are super lightweight you can tie them to just about anything! Just be careful of textured walls and dry grass/twigs because these can pop your balloons
This video will walk you through how to assemble our Deluxe Balloon Garland. This video shows standard latex balloons but the assembly process is the same for chalk balloons!
